Ninja Blocks is a very cool start-up by a bunch of people who have built, soldered and programmed some great little devices that link real world actions with online push!

Ninja Blocks are powerful little computers for sensing and controlling things in your physical environment. Ninja Cloud is a web service that lets you connect your online life to your real world stuff.

Extract from SMH: “Last week co-founders Marcus, his wife Madeline Schappi and Peter Moore shipped the first batch of 650 Ninja Blocks sold via a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign that generated more than $102,000 in March. The gadget’s electronics boards are soldered and assembled by hand in the company’s offices at the Australian Technology Park in Sydney’s Redfern.”

Very cool! Look forward to seeing these in action on the Ninja Blocks Forum.
