Probably the most flat, boring and uninspiring video and voiceover, but a very cool demonstration of a new technology called Touché – which is Touch Interaction on Humans, Screens, Liquids, and Everyday Objects. Touché proposes a novel Swept Frequency Capacitive Sensing technique that can not only detect a touch event, but also recognize complex configurations of the human hands and body.
Not sure how this will go in the future, but an interesting piece of technology nonetheless. Really like the idea of the mobile gestures.
Also… who eats cereal with water?! Really?
Big ups to Dylan for sharing.
